Two days ago Netflix released the first trailer for Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events and d*** we are excited.
The trailer isn't heavy on content, but instead relies on tone. Patrick Warburton as Lemony Snicket, himself (I always pictured Lemony Snicket a little damper and more jaundiced looking, but with that baritone I will refrain from complaints), strolling through the deserted set of the show. The lighting, the music and the dialogue all carry the delicious darkness of the books series. We're ready for you Netflix. Bring on the whimsical cruelty.
